wondering if anyone has the new m - box 3 yet , and if they like it i hear it has alot more advances then the m - box 2 line

From what i hear it is a really good interface compared to the mbox2 if you get one let me know how it sounds !!!

Yeah I Have It!. Never Owned The M-Box 2 But The M-Box 3 Is Well Worth The Price. Pre Amp Is Good,Pro Tools Le 8.0.4, 5GB Worth Of Loops,Training Dvd,Ni Ilok Required,Sturdy And Heavy Body. I Say Get It....... Zzounds.com Has Payment Plans For Em. Seeing That Im Only 16 It Worked Out Well Financially And Performance Wise Very Happy

I have the mbox2 as well as the digi 002.. the usb prot on my mbox broke from moving it from studio to studio.. Is the mbox 3 nicely put together?

Yea Its Very Sturdy. I Got It The Week It Came Out And So Far So Good. Everything Has A Nice But Rugged Strength. Knobs Are A Plastic That Feels Like Metal And Let U Pull If You Record -20db. Main Gain Knob Is Big And Rubbery,M-Box Weighs At Least 5lbs Its Got A Metal Casing Unlike The Cheap Plastic Of The M-Box 2. Overall I'd Say Its Great And The Black Design Is Wonderful Opposed To That Loud Blue Of The M-Box 2.

well just bought the new m box 3 and i am having issues , when i set a session up at 96 khz and import a instrumental no matter what sample rate i select it plays back in slow motion any thing above 48 khz plays sped up can anyone help me with this situation is anyone else experiencing this ????

hey why do you want to record at anything over 44.1khz? when you bounce it out for a cd or mp3 you're going to use 44.1khz.. most studios that record at high khz are doing movies... but this is something that avid can fix you just got it last week right!

it was playing back in slow motion at 44.1 also , so i tried all sample rates just out of curiosity , it was really strange even previous sessions i recorded with the mbox 2 all played back in slow mo lol , so i contacted avid and they said that it was a internal clock issue and replaced it free of charge new one works great , although its not really impressing me too much , its like they took the m audio fast track pro and combined it with the m box 2 line if that makes any sense
