When Recording Vocals make sure that your input level is between -6db & -3db. this will help you from Clipping!!!!

When mixing Vocals keep in mind that a lil does a lot!!

Does that mean that to have the interface physically set between -6db and -3db? or Do you mean the input on pro tools should be bouncing between -6db and -3db?

No every interface is different. just make sure your input signal on you dB meter is not going higher than -3
